Review policy

Only somebody whose job is recorded as completed, against a real quote request that went through this site. There is no path in the software to create a review that is not attached to a finished job, which is what lets us label them verified without it being marketing language.

No discount, no entry into anything, no reward for a positive review, and no asking only the customers we expect to be happy. Everyone whose job completes gets the same request, once.

A review is only hidden when it is one of these, and the reason is recorded either way:

• It identifies a person, contains abuse, or contains a threat.
• It describes a job that did not happen, which we can check against the outcome record.
• It was written by somebody with an undisclosed interest in the company.
• A court or regulator requires it.

A company objecting is not on that list. The software actually refuses it: an attempt to hide a review with a reason amounting to “the provider complained” is rejected rather than merely discouraged.

They can dispute it and say why. The dispute is recorded, a person looks at it against the job record, and the outcome is logged. If the review stands, it stands with the dispute noted. If it comes down, the reason is on the record.

Separately from ratings, we ask what was quoted and what was actually paid. A company’s price reliability figure comes from that arithmetic, not from opinion, and it only appears once there are enough completed jobs for a percentage to mean anything. Charging less than quoted never counts against anyone.
